Originality
theessentialman: theyounggentleman: Do not go out of your way to be original/different. That defeats the purpose and is obnoxious. People are obsessed with being individuals now. I just came back from my mates vics house, originally I just dropped by to give his dad the edited wedding photos he asked me to do. My original plan was to drop it off then leave, but instead I ended up staying and watching 17 again with Vic. Cheesy movie, but still pretty funny. Afterwards he decided we should catch up, so he brings out the leftover jack daniels he has then the 2 bottles of wine...

“It’s somewhat terrifying,” writes a 25-year-old named Jennifer, “to think about...”
– The NYTimes article, “What Is It About 20-Somethings” is a fascinating read. Once I was finished reading it, I was overcome with a sense of relief. Having spent the last year, post-graduation, googling ‘quarter-life’ crisis in a state of constant worry, it was comforting to realize that this...

Walmart and H&M decide to destroy unsold goods... →
sealegslegssea: audreywg: flirtingwithparadox: masculinetoast: blackenedbutterfly: The New York Times reported a disheartening story about two of the largest retail chains. You see, instead of taking unsold items to sample sales or donating them to people in need, H&M and Wal-Mart have been throwing them out in giant trash bags. And in the case that someone may stumble on these...
